Hi, I’m Sean. I have been the owner of Jasper Physiotherapy & Health Centre since 2009. I initially earned a BSc in Animal Biology from the University of Alberta in 2002 before I came back to the University of Alberta to finish my MSc in Physiotherapy in 2007. In between those degrees I spent some time upgrading, travelling and playing basketball overseas.
After graduating from my physiotherapy program I took expanded coursework in acupuncture and manual therapy. I was certified in medical acupuncture in 2010 and advanced manual and manipulative therapy in 2012. Once these courses were finished I decided to do something a little different to grow professionally and transitioned into the role of President of Physiotherapy Alberta, which acts as both our college and professional body. Over the years I have also taken coursework in order to do bike fittings and run assessments to better serve our very active community. The latest coursework I finished was in vestibular disorders as well as concussion evaluation and treatment which I have been very excited to utilize.
Over the years my practice has changed as my knowledge and experience has grown. I love this community and really enjoy spending time with my patients and strive to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals. I spend a lot of time with my family and in the outdoors climbing and biking so I look forward to getting people back outside doing the things they love with the people they love.
