Amy has a diploma in holistic nutrition and is additionally certified in nutritional coaching. She has a passion for helping people fuel their bodies in a realistic and sustainable way that helps them move towards their goals.
She understands that most of us were not taught what we really need to know when it comes to how food impacts our bodies. Amy believes in giving our bodies what they need and eating enough (and enough of the right things). Bodies have an incredible ability to heal when we remove what is causing the damage and provide the appropriate support and nutrition needed for repair.
A lifelong resident of Valemount, Amy loves hiking and backpacking, has run a few half marathons over the years and not much makes her happier than cooking for people she loves with food she grew in her garden.

I graduated from the Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta, after earning a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Physical Activity and Sport Performance. After graduation, I have continued my education through courses and experience involving running injuries, occupational rehabilitation, vestibular treatment, concussion management, and dry needling. I believe in empowering people through education and active recovery with the goal of returning people to their daily activities, work, or sport as quickly as possible.
During my free time, you’ll find me out hiking, skiing, running, and biking. Some of you may recognize me as I was lucky enough to grow up in Jasper - I am very excited to again be a part of such a vibrant and caring outdoor community!

Hi, I’m Sean. I have been the owner of Jasper Physiotherapy & Health Centre since 2009. I initially earned a BSc in Animal Biology from the University of Alberta in 2002 before I came back to the University of Alberta to finish my MSc in Physiotherapy in 2007. In between those degrees I spent some time upgrading, travelling and playing basketball overseas.
After graduating from my physiotherapy program I took expanded coursework in acupuncture and manual therapy. I was certified in medical acupuncture in 2010 and advanced manual and manipulative therapy in 2012. Once these courses were finished I decided to do something a little different to grow professionally and transitioned into the role of President of Physiotherapy Alberta, which acts as both our college and professional body. Over the years I have also taken coursework in order to do bike fittings and run assessments to better serve our very active community. The latest coursework I finished was in vestibular disorders as well as concussion evaluation and treatment which I have been very excited to utilize.
Over the years my practice has changed as my knowledge and experience has grown. I love this community and really enjoy spending time with my patients and strive to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals. I spend a lot of time with my family and in the outdoors climbing and biking so I look forward to getting people back outside doing the things they love with the people they love.
